Into oldies!

No.. I'm not into old men.
Well it depends how old they are. lol
My point is.. I'm really into old songs lately.
Especially blues and jazz..
I'm gonna spend Valentine's day listening to oldies over and over again!
Here's a song I really want to recommend.
"I've got a crush on you"
I have no idea who wrote the song 'cause there are so many versions. If I'm not wrong it should be Frank Sinatra.
I personally like Linda Ronstadt's version very much.

Lyrics:
How glad the many millions
Of Toms and Dicks and Williams
Would be
To capture me

But you had such persistence
You wore down my resistance
I fell
And it was swell

You're my big and brave and handsome Romeo
How I won you I will never never know
It's not that you're attractive
But oh my heart grew active
When you came into view

I've got a crush on you, sweetie pie
All the day and nighttime, hear me sigh
I never had the least notion
That I could fall with so much emotion

Could you coo
Could you care
For a cunning cottage we could share
The world will pardon my mush
Cause I've got a crush, my baby, on you

Could you coo
Could you care
For a cunning cottage we could share
The world will pardon my mush
Cause I have got a crush,
My baby, on you

I first heard it in "Definitely, Maybe" the movie starring Ryan Reynolds.
A definite mustwatch chick flick!
I went gaga over Ryan throughout the movie..
Here's the trailer.

If you like the song I recommended, you'll probably like [Etta James-At last] too.
I find Beyonce's version weak compared to Etta James.
No offense but Beyonce should stick to shaking her butt in single ladies.
All the single ladies~

Anyways..
Happy Valentine's day!!
Hope some of you'll get lucky! *winks*
